Tasty green and purple kale

The green and purple kale are doing very well now! The warm late September sun this year has helped the plants to establish themselves well and produce vigorous leafy growth.


This has allowed me to harvest the earlier leaves while they are still young and before they get too large and tough.



The young spinach and chard leaves that I have also been happily harvesting this summer is continuing well into autumn!

So after washing and draining the kale leaves, I have chopped them and added them with young spinach and chard leaves to make an Indian green delicacy, which has gone down a real treat with my family!

So tasty and well worth growing your own!
